--------------------DAYS1-3
e meals were disgusting.
at e hostel (nights 1-3)... they served potatoes and salads and some weird stuff.
this repeat themselves for e 3 nights... (cooked in diff ways of course).
i enjoyed e potatoes and salads there. haha.
worst thing for food in e hostel is that breakfast and lunch is e same!!!
ARHX! bread + ham + cheese. oh gosh.
haha... so some of us ate instant noodles.
haha.
over there, we had to buy our own mineral water and stuff. haix.
haha... den e beds were so disgusting that a lot of pple decided not to use e wolly blanket.
haha... inclusive of me la. of course. haha.
den after e comp, when we got a gold of course...
we were so jubilated and went back to e hostel.
when we found out that e cocky malaysians got a sliver in their marching band comp.
silent yes!!! haha...
they were like we cant practice after 9 (amsterdam's sunset is at 10pm)...
some of us playing mahjong cards or playing cards they also say we have bad class.
oh man, get a life. haha...
i think i complained enough abt them le. haha.

--------------------DAY 4
hmm... woke up early in e morning to get e bus out of e hostel...
for a 7hr ride to paris. haha...
of course we slept, talked, played ard in e bus...
by the time we reached disneyland it was like 3pm amsterdam time le.
haha...
but it close at 11pm.
tat tourguide (who looked like a conman) told us to get out by 8.30pm.
ok lorx.
so... e JC pple all went for e good rides. we barely had like 5 rides.
but we bought a lot of things... haha.
i spent like lots of money inside disneyland and planet hollywood.
haha.
after which we went to check in at our hotel (NOVOTEL).
oh gosh. it was ok la.
but a little laupok

den cause we play and play haven took dinner.
we went down to e cafe and to our surprise
they only got two dishes left. -_-"
either pasta of mashed potatoes.
waiyip and haosiang took pasta and em mashed potatoes.
den it turned out that e pasta was like rubber with tomato sauce according to waiyip.

den went to yue yuan's room (aka casino) to play cards.

morning got a city tour of paris.
haha... went to e effiel tower (wadever e spelling).
second floor... took tons of pics... haha.
den went down to other parts of paris...
after lunch we went to luxembourg.
e scenery there v nice lor. haha...
took photos again...
haha... den was very rushed lor.
checked into Parc Hotel... haha...
same as novotel lor. all e furniture distribution all e same de. haha.
but a bit better.
at least e lift is bigger. haha.

morning took bus immediately to brussels, belgium.
there a lot of things to buy lor. haha... lol. den bought things. photos. haha.
den rushed after lunch back to amsterdam...
had early dinenr... at abt 5pm amsterdam time.
den boarded our plane @9pm amsterdam time (aka 3am spore time).
haha... den slept and watched movies for 12 hours.
reach spore le go back to sch...
where brother anthony spoke to us.
haha. he say we v good...
we made them wan to give us a new band room.
woah.
haha... he first time say human language (ren hua). haha... lol.
so... v good lor.
he even invite us to go perform in founders day...
and to join the teachers for dinner to acknowledge us. haha.
wow. perfect!! haha...

1. Saint Andrews' School

• generally in tune... first piece (aka 7th night of july).
• great movements within e band.
• haha... v nice indeed.
• 70/100 (i'm v strict de horz!!)

2. Anglo-Chinese (Independent)

• oh no... TOTALLY CANNOT MAKE IT.
• tuning out like no one's business...
• haven start playing cymbals already drop on floor le. wad can i say?
• places (in Versuvius) which need empahsis was not emphasized on.
• hmm... wonder how they got to present. totally throw face i think.
• 50/100 (i'm lenient here -_-")

3. Dunman High

• haix. good band with a good sound with good tuning.
• but dont u all think tat e pieces they played were like erm. BORING?
• haha... jlo fell asleep.
• den got harp.
• which was used likefor say 30 bars? oh gosh.
• totally waste of time and resources bringing it there.
• one major mistake was e choice of pieces. too boring.
• den just abit too show off... a little sax solo must shake hand and stand w conductor woah. -_-"
• 55/100 (for e "entertainment" value)
• 65/100 (for e sound)

4. Temesek Junior College

• oh wad can i say... wad having high hopes on this band.
• came out strong i must say.
• but prob due to tiredness or smthing...
• some obvious screw ups here and there...
• but overall still enjoyable.
• loved e piano gliss!!! haha... i alsmost fell off e seat.
• haha...
• congrats to haosiang, edmund, tingzhang and bernard (u guys played well).
• 80/100 (for e tuning and quality of sound)

5. Saint Andrews' Junior College

• very good closure to e perfect concert.
• persis first...
• it won my heart. just took it away. haha... was so touched by it la!!!
• and e most disgusting xylophone part was played 95% correctly by joo yeow i think if i never see wrongly...
• so proud of him!! haha.
• den was merry widow... altho jinyan say got screw ups here and there...
• i tot it was wondrous. v little screw ups if u ask me.
• general feeling was v nice. loved SAJC's performance.
• my heart was moving w e music... it was like... PERFECT!!!!
• congrats to jinyan and jooyeow... u guys rawk!
• 85/100 (perfect ending to e concert!)

Now for e award presentation ceremony...

1. Most out of tune band of the nite = ACS (I)
2. Most perfect piece = Merry Widow Selections by SAJC
3. Most in tune band of the nite = tie between SAJC and TJC
4. Most diu lian event = shoes drop off... by dunnoe which band. ahaha. totally diu lian.
5. Best Condutor = Mr. "Honours" aka Gloss. wondrous movements... good.
6. BAND OF THE NIGHT = SAINT ANDREWS' JUNIOR COLLEGE!!!
