i survived it!

it was ok..
maybe due to e fact that i was sick and skipped a few trainings here and there...
but!!!
lets see wad we did.
HA.
first day...
marched 8km to e first camp site - a rubber plantation.
e march was horrible towards e end.
i constantly worry and think about how i am gonna endure e 24km one...
reached (with a BIG smile on my face)
and started to build our basha (aka tents)...
when i saw my site... it was... muddy.
wth.
den basically i slept on mud for two days.
and!!!!!
e point where i slept got one big log all e way across my back.
so basically...
my back is bruised... still.

that was where we spent our two days...
on e morning of e third day.
about 4am.
woke up with a fever... 38.3.
went back to medical centre and came back to e camp site at lunch time...
den we moved!
like move house ah.
haha.
to oil palm plantation...
v nice trees....
v nice environment.
until...
all e mosquitoes and sandflies came out to play at night.
wth.
bit all of us...
esp siyuan abit serious on e legs.
haha.
den it rained.
OMG.
it din rain for e first two days... we thought we were lucky.
ha.

so basically slept in e rain with e sandflies biting me all over.
haix.
gross.
den e next day we learnt about digging our graves.
omg.
i was on status but chose to try digging anyway...
so we dug....
and dug....
and we dug for e whole day! omg.
and e worst part?!?!
we haven finished it.
omg la.
haha.
den after dinner...
my temperature shot up again...

den just took panadol and slept e day away in e medical tent.
during e night...
was quite rough...
rained heavily at 3am...
all e graves we dug all got flooded.
haix!
to think we have to continue finishing it...
it was a omg.
ha.
den e next morning i kinda recovered...
so i continued with e grave.
emptied it of water....
which took damn long.

it started to rain again!!!!!!

den wear raincoat..
and stay there lo.

by e time e rain finished...
it was flooded again!

so had to take e water out again...
omg.
so by e time all of us finished digging...
it was around 6pm.
of course we din start in e morning la.
started after some lectures and practicals...
so basically...
we used about 24 hrs (conservative estimation) for a task that has to be done within 45 mins.
WELL DONE.
ha.
den we were all wet and muddy.
and we cant change shirts that night.
haix.
that night i almost chilled to death.
for a guy like me to shiver...
it takes real cold temp.
now i noe why people on SURVIVOR shiver without fire.
e moment it heats u up....

forest temperatures suck.
its damn freaking cold at night.
i wearing long sleeve shirt, long pants and boots still feel cold.
ha.
we din bath at all.
but got some time to wash up on e 4th night.
not too bad...
powder bath everyday...
but e last night was horrible.
imagine...
powder + wet, muddy clothes... den sleep.
its omg.
HA.
but....
i survived!
OHHH!
and we only ate combat rations.
ha.
e biscuits are rock...
but e rations arent that bad...
haha...
yup...
cookhouse food is heavenly now.
we reached back at camp yesterday.

imagine my BIG smile.

we bathed!

today is BOOK OUT DAY!!!!
ha.
i basically brought home every possible thing i could for my mum to wash...
there's like 20 pairs of socks if i dun remember wrongly...
and loads of shirts...
e whole laundry point is like.... LOADED.
and drying area is like.... all humid.
ha.
i pity my mum...
she's considering sending them for laundry services.
ha.

to get my antibiotics i lost in e jungle...
before all e viruses get immune to all e antibiotics.
