went to meet haosiang and bernard for breakfast this morning....
had my favourite nasi lemak at e market...
den we cabbed down.
(which reminds me i have to collect e cab fare =P)
haha.
den reached early...
at 8.45am...
slacked around.
till mr lin came at 9.10am i think...
den we tuned, played thru e pieces a few times...
haha.
den e food came!
ate e food and boarded e bus to VCH.
on the nice bus...
suddenly, my senior zhen cheng said...
"i forgot to bring my score."
WTH.
thats like the last thing that can happen to u...
haha!
den we decided to use orginals.

but that was just e start of his series of unfortunate events.

when we reached VCH.
we went to e SSO's office to place our stuff...
cause mr. chiang working there mah.
haha.
den some guest players commented that....
"wah. how come e SSO room become Maris room??"

hahahahaha!
den we went into e tuning room
where each band is given 10 minutes to tune and warm up....
and zhen cheng finds out e tuners are not with him!
how brilliant!
was with e teacher inside VCH.
like totally wth.

but got it back la.
hahaha!
but we started playing...
den abt after 10 mins.
they run to us.
"ur time haven start yet! cause the adjudication lagging. so dun play first."

not exactly our fault.
just we tyco.

den we tuned...
and went up to stage.
haha!
we all thought we were screwed...
den after e performance...
went back into the hall to listen...
RGS was very gd.
just too harsh and loud.
den results announced!!!!!
and we are e top band for division one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with a score of 85.71%
woah!!!!!
haha. at that moment i was damn proud of myself.
den mr lin came and shook my hand...
ARHX!
felt vvv happy.
for me. for him. and for e band.
we celebrated...
took loads of pics.

and...
e third unfortunate event that happened to zhen cheng...
his sole of his shoe came off!
and need to use scotchtape somemore.
like arhx!
so unlucky.
hahaha!
luckily we r not unlucky.
=P
and we get e 5k prize and a spot in the Honour Bands Concert.
held next sunday....
and come to think about it.
i am gonna perform at VCH for three sundays in a row.
cause!!!!!

and rushed back for e open division adjudication.
when TJC finished machu picchu....
i wanted to cry.
it was...
to me.
flawless.
i dun see why they din get gold with distinction.

but... they stll emerged top band in open division...
which means....
MR LIN OWNED E COMPEITION.
muahahaha!
where other conductors have like.... 3 to 4 bands in e competition.

maris stella wind symphony got 1st prize in the first division...
temesek junior college got 1st prize in the open division...
and both conductors are e same...
